Candidates running for local office in 2026 will need to file two forms and deliver them to the courthouse. The CFA-1 and the CAN -2 both forms are located below. If you have not voted in the Democratic Primary the last two times you voted in a primary then you will need a 3rd form signed by the Party Chair, Vince Aguirre, to declare you as a Democrat.

These forms must be submitted to the election office at the courthouse no later than Feb 6th at noon. The election office staff can notarize the documents for you. Be sure to retain your copies.
