As Township Trustee, you’ll be empowered to:
- Appoint a member to the Greencastle School Board (Greencastle and Madison Townships only)
- Administer local assistance to those in urgent need
- Oversee fire protection in unincorporated areas
- Manage maintenance of township properties, including historic cemeteries
- Work with your Township Board to budget wisely for the community's future
- Annual pay of between $5,000 - $12,000 depending on township and determined by the board
