The Clerk of the Circuit Court serves as the official record-keeper for the county’s court system and elections process. Responsibilities include:

Handling court judgments, probate, and child support documentation
Serving as secretary of the county election board, overseeing voter registration and local elections

This is a full-time role with year-round responsibilities. In Putnam County, the Clerk of the Circuit Court earns approximately $55,000 per year, along with standard county employee benefits.
